Coming to Saudi Arabia · Targeting 2027

The channel manager and AI frontdesk we're building for Saudi Arabia

Saudi hospitality is chain-heavy and growing fast, with international brands alongside local chains like Boudl, Shaza and Time Hotels. fursat OS is building an Arabic-voice version of its AI frontdesk for this market, routed over telecom SIP rather than WhatsApp calling, which is blocked in Saudi Arabia even though WhatsApp messaging itself works fine.

How Saudi Arabia actually books today

WhatsApp is used for messaging in Saudi Arabia, but WhatsApp voice and video calling is blocked at the network level, so an AI phone frontdesk has to run over a telecom carrier (STC, Etihad Etisalat) or a licensed calling app, not over WhatsApp itself the way it does in India. Vision 2030's infrastructure push is shifting real budget toward AI adoption in hospitality, which is a tailwind for a market that is still earlier-stage on cloud software than its market size suggests.

What we're building for Saudi Arabia
  • Arabic voice on Cartesia and ElevenLabs, built for the Gulf market rather than adapted from Hindi.
  • Telecom SIP voice routing (STC or Etihad Etisalat) in place of WhatsApp calling, since that path is blocked here.
  • Local payment rails (HyperPay or Checkout.com, covering Mada) in place of the India-only Cashfree integration.
Compliance

Saudi Arabia's PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law) is in force with NCA cyber controls, including data localisation for sectors classified as critical. Hospitality is not currently classified as a critical sector.

Saudi Arabia questions, answered
Is fursat OS live in Saudi Arabia yet?

Not yet. We are building the Arabic voice, telecom SIP and local payments integrations described on this page, targeting 2027. Join early access below to be first in line.

Why can't the AI frontdesk just answer calls over WhatsApp like it does in India?

WhatsApp voice and video calling is blocked at the network level in Saudi Arabia, even though WhatsApp messaging works normally. Voice has to route over a telecom carrier or a licensed calling app instead, which is a real infrastructure difference from the India product, not a feature gap.

Does this work for hotel chains, not just single properties?

Yes, and Saudi Arabia's market is more chain-concentrated than India's. Per-property pricing scales the same way across a chain's portfolio, whether that is a handful of properties or dozens.
