Combine rooms into one bookable listing
If you have several individual rooms added and want to also sell a group of them together as one bigger, separately bookable listing (say, two adjoining rooms as a family suite, or several rooms as the whole floor), you can. It takes two steps: create the combined listing as a new room, then tell us which existing rooms make it up. Once that is set, booking any one of those rooms blocks the combined listing automatically, and booking the combined listing blocks all of them, in both directions.
Step 1: create the combined listing
On the property page, add a new room the same way you add any room, but on the Manual tab: give it a name (like "Family suite" or "Whole floor"), its own occupancy, beds and rate. You don't need an Airbnb link for this step yet.
Step 2: tell us which rooms it combines
Go to Settings → iCal feeds → Combined listings. Pick the room you just created, then check off which of your existing rooms belong to it. You can pick any subset, not just all of them: for example, two rooms out of four.
This is your call to make. We don't suggest combinations, because only you know which rooms actually share a floor, a door, or make sense sold as a unit.
Step 3: connect the combined listing to Airbnb, like any other room
The combined listing needs its own real listing on Airbnb; we don't create that for you, since Airbnb requires it be set up on their side first. Once it exists there, connect its calendar the same way you would for any single room: give Airbnb our calendar link for it, and paste in Airbnb's calendar link for it, from that room's Airbnb card.
After both calendar links are connected, the blocking is automatic. You do not need to touch it again unless you change which rooms belong to the combination.
Can a combined listing be part of another combined listing?
No. A combined listing can only be made up of individual rooms, not other combined listings.
Do I have to combine all my rooms, or can it be just some of them?
Just some of them. Pick exactly the rooms that make sense to sell together; the rest stay bookable on their own as usual.
What happens if I forget to connect the combined listing's own calendar?
The room-to-room blocking only works once its calendar is connected both ways, same as any room. Until then, it exists in your account but won't reflect or cause any blocks.
